Vacancy for an Administration Assistant

Hunston Parish Council wishes to appoint an enthusiastic Admin Assistant with immediate effect for 3 – 4 hours a week to assist the Clerk of the Council in their legal duties. Reporting to the Clerk of the Council you will assist by providing a clerical and administrative support service alongside the Clerk. As the first point of contact to all callers and visitors you will be ensuring they are dealt with promptly, efficiently and courteously.

Hours to be worked will be one morning or afternoon a week at the Annexe, Hunston Village Hall, Selsey Road, Hunston PO20 1AW

The successful applicant will be qualified to at least GCSE level and must be fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint), have good organisational skills and a good telephone manner. Local Government experience not necessary as training will be given.
